20% Lactic Peel

This 20% Lactic peel combines l-lactic acid with a powerful mix of specialty ingredients to address hyperpigmentation, inflammation, and fine lines.  This peel is used to gently exfoliate acne-prone, hyperpigmented, and aging skin without excessive irritation or dehydration.  It may cause mild flaking of the skin. It is recommended for use on all skin types and all acne types, including acne rosacea.

          • Reduces fine lines
          Apply a thin layer on clean skin with a small fan brush, avoiding the eye and lip area. Leave for 3 to 5 minutes as tolerated. Use a small fan to reduce any stinging or irritation. Remove completely with a cool, wet towel. Rinse as needed.
          This peel is safe for clients who are pregnant or nursing, but always direct those clients to seek permission from their doctor before using.

          This is NOT a self-neutralizing peel -- it must be removed completely from the skin.

            L-Lactic Acid: alpha hydroxy acid that is hydrating, exfoliating, and reduces hyperpigmentation

            Brightenyl®: blocks melanogenesis process to help control darkening of skin & reduce pigmented spots, helps prevent inflammation & controls skin redness

            Azeloglicina®: an improved derivative of azelaic acid that is hydrating, improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and is shown to be beneficial for rosacea

            Kojic Acid: Inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase, provides gradual and continual skin lightening to relieve skin discolorations

            PerfectionPeptide P3: reduces fine lines and uneven pigmentation, activates skin cell regeneration, improves smoothness, clarity, and radiance

            Exfolactive®: aids in desquamation, reduces appearance of fine lines

            PhytoCellTec Symphytum™: derived from comfrey root, increases skin renewal and smoothing, inhibits age-related thinning of the epidermis
