Are the routines provided by Acne Assist the same as the routines provided in the Home Care Guideline?

The routines provided by Acne Assist are the same routines found in the homecare guideline. If you disagree with any of the protocols provided or find it to be inaccurate in any way, please let us know through the feedback button located on the routine display page.

Will this save my client routines so I can access them later?

The routines created in Acne Assist will not be saved. We recommend downloading the PDF to include in your client folder.

Why can’t I make manual adjustments to the routine?

We do not yet have the technology implemented but look forward to doing so in the future!

Why can't I type my clients full name?

To remain HIPAA compliant and to protect the privacy of your clients, only the first initials may be entered.

Why won't this provide a routine for my clients younger than 16?

Routines provided to your younger clients will vary based on the resiliency and maturity of their skin. We recommend taking a conservative approach with active ingredients for clients under 16. Stay tuned! We hope to make advancements in the future to provide more detailed guidance for younger clients.

Does this provide continued guidance beyond 6 weeks?

It does not. The current functionality of this tool can only determine the routine for the first 6 weeks of treatment. For guidance beyond 6 weeks, please reference the Home Care Guideline.

How can I report any errors, suggestions and feedback regarding this tool?
